[b]Time's Prison[/b]
Step 2 - Escape
[i]Korvic has just prevented Crota's return inside the Vault. A Distress Beacon was received in the Vault with an old Vanguard signature. Right now, he's being sent back in there to rescue whoever it is that's sent the beacon out. We've also received a transmission.
This is Praedyth. If anyone receives this, I've been stuck in the Vault for a very. Long. Time. Please. Send a rescue team. Someone. Anyone.
Take caution, Korvic. This could be a trap.[/i]

Korvic was dropped off in the Templar's Well. Vex lined the room, and a Vex Time Gate lie where the Templar usually was.

Korvic checked his equipment, then approached the gate cautiously.

The Vex turned on him and fired.

"Why you always gotta break my heart?" He chuckled, then drew his handcannon. He started firing at the vex surrounding the room, aiming for the weaker mind core casings in their stomachs.

They continued firing at him, besides the fact they were getting mowed down.

He slid behind the cover of a large pillar to avoid the slap rifle fire. He reached down to his belt and tossed a void-wall grenade out into the fray, which ignited on the ground.

The Vex stupidly walked into it and burned. A hobgoblin remained and kept firing at Korvic.

Korvic simply threw a smoke pellet in it's face and walked towards the time gate.

The Time Gate swirled in front of him and the signal grew stronger. [b]The Vex kn... w I set off a Distr... Beacon! Some.... quickly![/b]

"Oh boy.... Never liked these things...." Korvic took a few steps back and ran threw the portal. Once on the other side, he almost immediately threw off his helmet and threw up on the ground. "Ohhhhhhh God..... Ohhhhhhhhhh that sucks...... Ohhhhhhhhh that really really sucks....... Ohhhhh God......"

He found himself in the same hallway that Jeeves was in earlier.

He slowly got up and wiped his mouth, deciding to explore the area.

The walls were made of stone, and the cells' bars were made of glass. The hallway seemed to march on forever.

"Cheery place..." He continued to search for the source of the distress beacon.

[spoiler]lol i like how Jeeves is basically Alfred. nice touch.[/spoiler] It was at least a mile down. What with everything looking the same, It would take forever to reach it.

"Great... You got any ideas?" [u]"Well, there must be some sort of transit system to move between levels, perhaps another vex gate?"[/u] "Why can't it ever just be stairs...."

At the end of this hallway was another Time Gate. It's link to another Time Gate was down below.

"Great..." Korvic hurried through the time gate, this time managing to hold down his lunch.

He could hear the March of Vex further down the hall. The Distress Beacon was down the hall. [b]They're nearing my cell. If anyone's here, now would be a great time to rescue me..[/b]

Korvic ran down the hallway and slid into one of the vex, knocking it off it's feet. He then unsheathes his knife and plunged it into the machine's weak point before jumping at the next.

They opened fire with Torch Hammers.

He quickly drew a shadow shot and fired it at one of the vex.

They teleported past it and avoided it while firing.
