I'm an old gen player as of right now, and am going to upgrade to a ps4 soon. I was wondering if I should even bother getting destiny for the ps4

Nah hold of to destiny 2. Bungie is taking destiny in the wrong direction and are losing fan base because of it. So hopefully come destiny 2 they have learnt from their mistakes and give us the game we thought vanilla destiny was going to be.

Edited by REESTAR: 11/25/2015 8:55:19 AMAs you can see most are saying no but yet they are still in the forum of the game they say they hate, if you like the look of a game then buy it and make your own mind up. This game isn't what it was its so easy to level up nowadays so you will never get the true grind of this game or the lure of the getting the mighty gally! But I imagine buying this game now it would seem amazing with all the levels and raids etc, and just when you get comfortable with it bungie will change everything and will screw you over and will turn you into a forum devil of hate lol

I'm not going to repurchase destiny when i retire my ps3. Big fat nope lol
-
No. Look for better games that don't exploit your desire to collect everything. Witcher 3. Fallout 4. Battlefront. Or future games like the division which looks really good. The rng is abused in this

NOOOOOOOO
-
Yes there really isn't anything else right now for us that enjoy co-op and cosmetics.

There's such great games out there. Hind site being 20/20, I wouldn't have waste a minute or dime on Destiny. A few games you might like instead: Star Wars Battlefront Fallout 4 Batman Arkham Knight Heck, even last gen games remastered are better than Destiny.

Absolutely not. All of us here have wasted tonnes of money and time on this game and except for the few oblivious morons all will tell you that it is absolutely not worth the price on the box. Put it this way do you want to do the same things over and over again with a very slim chance that you might get a reward that you actually wanted or needed? The only benefit of which will be to play through the same content again but making it a touch easier for yourself. Do you want to play a completely unbalanced pvp for little to no reward, do you want to get used to your setup in this game type only to have whatever weapons you were using completely nerfed into the ground making the setup you've been using completely useless. Do you want to be unable to do end game content without having to visit an outside website to find people to play it with? some of which will be next to clueless about what they are doing. I could go on but I'm boring myself. If you answered yes to these questions by all means buy destiny, the likelihood is that you are a sensible person and a sensible person would run a mile in the opposite direction.

Used to be

Get it
-
Used to be..
-
Think GameStop has a deal on Black Friday for a ps4 and destiny with all the expansions
-
Nah Fallout 4.
-
Awesome game can't get enough
-
Not worth it anymore, year two is nothing but an even more drawn out grind to increase playtimes, and they made pretty much all of year one activities obsolete. Not worth getting unless you want to pay for less of a game than there was in year one, which wasn't much to begin with....
-
Yes it's really a fantastic game dispite the issues
-
Hammer OP? On 9/15? K
-
No. Save yourself before it's too late
-
Hell yes, make it happen.
-
-
Yes you should get it it's awesome
-
Add me if you do get Destiny, or BO 3
-
I had destiny for Xbox 360, and I recently got it for Xbox One. If you enjoyed the game like I did, you should get it.
