Any fellow dads/moms out there playing IB With their kids?
Edit: I posted this here on accident and reposted in the destiny threads. Feel free to delete.
Now my son plays but he could never do the raid because it requires a lot of patience, coordination, and communication and I don't let him chat with anyone online. so we used iron banner to get him gear and it was good to him. After he went to bed I stayed up and played on his account until it closed to try and get him anything I could. I got him from 280 to 296 by the end so I'm very grateful for that.
He played to rank 4.75 and had to goto bed but he played really well. We have our TVs side by side so I can talk with him. For 7 years old he plays really well and was grabbing the second place spot on occasion so I was very proud of him. After he went to bed I wanted to get him that last win so he could hit rank 5 and get the package. Unfortunately the package was a low level ghost so I went ahead and grinder out matches until it closed to try and get him something better.
RNG wasn't on my side so I decided I would do the strike playlist, get the legendary marks (needed 30) and buy the machine gun from the iron banner so he had at least one decent gun. All he had was a blue auto rifle, blue fusion rifle and blue machine gun so he needed something.
I can't wait to see what he says when he gets home from school today.
If any other parents out there have a similar scenario with their kids feel free to post and share.
