Starting today, November 23rd, you are officially unable to play one of the TTK quests if you are on last-gen.
I don't recall a warning about this expiration date when I purchased Density.
Oh well. Guess I'll just have to...
throw money at the screen.
I know, I can't even play vanilla Destiny on my NES!
-
I'm stuck on 360 until I can convince the kids to want an Xbox One (slow going so far). I support this move on Bungie's part as it's pretty evident that the old gen consoles are holding the game back. Interested to see what they will be able to accomplish in Destiny 2 without the limitations of the older generation as a sea anchor...
-
Another I'm poor feel bad for me pathetic post. Anyone still on last gen consoles shouldn't be buying any dlc for it at all but rather using those funds towards getting a current gen console.
-
I suppose we should still be expecting updates on Windows XP too right? SMH.
-
Refer A Friend is not a TTK quest...

Edited by Solid Snake3324: 11/25/2015 5:51:59 AMThis game is dying anyways I already left it I'have X1 &ps4
-
Maybe instead of bitching, try updating to a relevant console.
-
Destiny is already going down the drain so I really don't see this as an issue would rather play fallout 4 with mods than wait for another broken dlc from bungie
-
Gta V did the same thing stop complaining. Ever heard of "out with the old in with the new?" Maybe it's time to upgrade your console, old gen has been holding us back for way too long.
-
Even the xb1 and ps4 have an expiration date. Sony and Microsoft both have 10 year plans for their systems, so even they will dump them eventually. The game companies are just beating them to the punch this time. The ps4 just recently saw its second year, so in about 3 more years, we'll likely see the ps5 and not long after, the ps4 will die out. The life cycle of any system is centered around the evolution of technology and how quickly developers adapt to take advantage of it. That's just how it works.
Destiny doesn't have an expiration date... Your console does.
OP inhales massive cock for his breakfast.
-
Which one aren't you getting anymore? And this is the way of things. New gen comes, old gen goes.
-
But if it's one of those old bubble TV screens and it weighs a ton there is not a slot to put the money in. You will need to update that too. Also, .... your Windows 95 won't work anymore. your rotary dial telephone doesn't work anymore, Cell phones don't weigh 16 pounds and require a briefcase anymore. and what the F*CK is a HASHTAG!?
-
Oh well. Guess I'll just have to...
throw money at an up to date console

Fixd
-
Destiny doesn't have an expiration date... Your console does.
-
Maybe it's like milk and it's good for a week after the expiration date.
-
Yea this refer a friend crap is the last straw for many players including myself. Take us back to Year 1 and wake me up pls.
-
Your console is ten years old. It has literally half the computing power of current gen. It shouldn't be a surprise that newer games either don't work on your console or have fewer features. I've never liked the whole #PCMasterRace thing but that community at least gets this concept. You don't see any of those guys complaining about how their 10 year old rig can't run the latest games.
-
this was kinda easy to see coming lol. old consoles like 360 or ps3 are becoming obsolete compared to current gen consoles...thats right! not next gen anymore that ship has sailed :P
-
What quest are you talking about? Refer a friend?
-
Oh no they are supporting last gen consoles, what are we gonna do?
-
Edited by CptRedBush: 11/24/2015 7:28:39 PMWhich quest is it? Refer a friend?
-
Y u do dis Bungie!!!!!!
-
Yep. And now it starts. Last gen completely locked out. Next gen semi locked out unless they know a new player. It's only going to get worse.
-
Instead of throwing money at the screen, maybe save them ca$h for latest gen.
-
I could care less. Hi Nubbin.
