Of course. A plant is a Rose. Roses arose when one rose rose before any other rose had produced a rose that arose. After the first rose rows arose, a rose could be planted as rows of roses, or just as a rose by itself and watered by hoses. In other words, before a rose arose, there were no roses or long rows of roses. Be thankful that long ago a rose arose, giving birth to rose after rose, all growing in straight rows of one rose's rose rows.
