This is a huge slap to the face for vanilla destiny players, or even TTK launch players. Nobody is purchasing this game right now, and if they are they probably already have friends exploiting this with them. So everybody who has gotten their friends addicted when the game actually came out is pretty much getting the shaft and told "make new friends". They aren't any new friends to make that aren't already playing this. I can't force people to play either. So thanks once again bungie for showing the people who've supported this game since day one just what's really important to you. MONEY!!! Not dedicated players.

Lots of people are new to the game. But how do they know to come look here on the forums? They dont.

I completely agree. Like just having you and a friend link up, or a friend you got to play go and enter your email, or gamer tag saying you referred them. You still have to do the quests with them, but not have somebody 110% new start playing. The only way I can think to get this done is by buying the taken king again for an alt profile. Which means this game is somewhat becoming pay to win. If it requires you making people buy the game to get certain rewards I won't be a part of it.

Exactly. Nobody that's getting on this game is thinking. I should probably go to the forums to see if their is anything worth finding out for myself. They're too busy trying to figure out all the important aspects of the game right now.
