So I was playing iron banner yesterday and I came across a Titan that had literally just activated his HoS and I responded by firing my shadowshot at him. It hit him directly but he didn't die nor did his super get nullified. I don't care if it didn't kill him but what I'm concerned about was the fact that my shadowshot didn't suppress his super in the slightest. Is this a glitch or something?
-
Earlier today I fired a shadowshot and it disappeared into nowhere.
-
Oh get this. Was in storm trance to counter hos and I have the blink on for it, he throws hammer and I blink to dodge it and it follows me in the blink! Totally 90 degrees turn!
-
I got hit with quivers and kept my super idk im surprise im alive as well
-
Wierd because there is something wrong with my combustion fist for my Titan. It doesn't happen all the time but at least every other match. I will punch a wounded enemy and the fist will do no damage, only the burn over time. It sucks cause I will die when I should have had them in the first place! Strangely enough, it's only Hunters this happens. I'm not blaming hunters or saying buff this or nurf that. Hunters bow and Titans combustion fist need to be looked at.
-
Direct hit a HoS with a nova bomb earlier. Not only did he not die, he didn't even take dmg.
-
Your shot got time-gated, won't activate until we actually need your super, sry
-
What most likely happened was before the shot actually tethered him, he threw a hammer to try and hit you, but hit the tether orb instead because it appeared right in front of him since you hit him directly, and then destroyed it before it could tether him. Otherwise he just got out of range before the delay ended.
-
It's actually most likely a bug on the Shadowshot maybe quiver is still broken some how
-
I've hit countless blade dancers with suppression grenades and they don't get suppressed. It's just a glitch with suppression
-
It's just a bug with ShadowShot. I've direct impacted a Bladedancer and their super was not suppressed and then swiped me. So it's a little buggy. Needs to attach to the Guardian and activate immediately.
-
Also had the same problem directly shooting a storm caller as he activated his super; it was with black hole on and it did nothing-I was pissed
-
Did you guys know you can literally shoot the tethered void orb and destroy it ?
-
Since Quivers been back I've noticed a huge increase in it doing absolutely nothing. Either by hitting them directly with the arrow and them still being half health or having them casually stroll past a tether and not get stuck in it. I just started using my GG instead, SS isn't worth using in PvP.
-
Well I was hitting people directly with my truth and that didn't do nothing ! Lol

Edited by Xtake a breakX: 11/22/2015 9:06:15 PMI have been able to pop my super right after a shadow shot hits, Tethers me and still have my super just could not move that much even killed the Hunter the hit me with shadow shot
-
Edited by Happyjoey547014: 11/22/2015 9:44:27 PMNo this is normal. The tether has to hit them for the supression to work. Here's the best part. It takes so long to activate they can run out of its range if you don't have backhole equiped. Enjoy.
-
Well, that's bullshit. Did you hit him on activation? Because there's nore damage reduction at that moment. Also if you're using quiver you should know the tethers are tiny and it takes a second to activate so if you hit him and he moves enough by the time the tethers go up, thatll happen. Maybe. Either way, thats dumb
-
Nah the tether is just really slow
-
No the initial shadowshot does not stop a super it's the actual beam of light that stops the tether
-
The tether does not activate on impact. However, I've seen where a HoS was tethered by my Black Hole and his super was still active. It confused me like hell.
-
Either a glitch or the game determined that the hammer broke the core of the tether before it tethered. Just example 438 as to why that super needs adjustment.
-
you're better off hitting the floor in front same thing happens with storm callers
-
Yea. That was a glitch. Here's the thing. The time that it takes for Shadow Shot to aim, fire and cancel a super is way too long. But, that's more to do with panicking when using the super. The time it takes to cancel the super is far too long and it needs a quicker cancel. The animation and aim takes a wee bit of time but that's just down to the animation being allowed to breathe and the timing of the user.
-
I think so
