My sister was doing a project for either Philosophy or English (I can't remember...) and it was to give a strong and well explained/backed up essay on why God was real/not real. My sister chose the former. Every time she had 'God' in her essay her teacher would bring her mark down for every time she spelled God with a capital 'G' even though it was correct spelling. This happens to quite a few people, lemme tell you! I understand where you're coming from with this.
