People don't decide they don't like their gender, they are born that way. People are capable of thinking about multiple things at once. We can still be mourning the deaths in Paris and be making others aware of the plight of trans people. Other issues cannot be put to the side just because there is another one at hand.

  • No I don't feel bad for people that don't like their gender. I'm not heartless but in light of recent events I couldn't care less. Terrorism is a bigger deal than trans people being bullied. Get over your social high horse and come back to reality

  • Of course I care about terrorism. It is one of our greatest threats. So your saying we should put social issues to the side until all terrorism is eliminated? We should continue to allow rampant racism and hatred of the LGBT community to continue? We as humans are capable of thinking about more than one issue at once. One group's plight should not be put on the sideline simply because you view another one more important.

  • Actually that's exactly how it works. One issue isn't nearly as important so the other comes first. A threat to national security vs. people that are gay and or trans. Special snow flakes can be set aside while we deal with real world issues

If that were true, then the victims were bullied to the point of suicide on account of that illness. Does that make things any better, in any way?

  • Does them being Trans change the importance of their suicide? To social justice warriors like you, I guess it does.
