"I'm... Charmed"
John hesitated when his eyes drifted to the Warlock. There was something off about him. Something he was hiding.
John craved knowledge. The ability to know anything and everything was an ultimate goal for him. The Hive were a great source. Surprisingly good records but baised information.
Offtopic. John suddenly sat down and crossed his legs. He focused on the two Guardians without saying a word and concentrated.
His breathing slowed and he felt his mind drift away from reality. The background senses started to disappear one by one until he felt in utter nothingness.
Then he focused harder. On the two Guardians. He could feel their presence. The Hunter was energetic. Lively. Very positive presence. A lot of history she chose to ignore.
The Warlock was dark. He couldn't feel much presence from him but what he could manage was mangled. Dark. He felt a torrent of anger and hate that burned but was repressed.
He opened his eyes and looked at them.
"I'm glad to help when I can"
John slowly rose and dusted himself off.
"So, I assume you have little to no idea where we are or why? No problem. I say we take a little trip around the deeper parts of the Dreadnaught. Always something interesting in here"
John walked up to the cage and drew his sword. He tested its weight and and then readied his stance. He lifted the sword back and spoke a single word as he channeled his Light.
"Rend"
He swung with all his might and the blade passed through the cage without any resistance. The cage slowly started to disintegrate around the slash mark and he spoke again.
"Two things. I recommend you get out when you can because I may have put too much Light in the swing. Cage has two minutes before it falls down that canyon. And the other thing. I heard chitons mentioned. You have any? I'm starving"
