In order for us to create the ideal Monarchy. One without loss, without denial. We must be absolute for us to accomplish true power. For this to be created, there are obstacles that must be destroyed, eliminated and extinguished. This group is for the sake of this reasoning- An elite force with immeasurable numbers defending the Monarchy to it's last breath.
✒ Stay loyal to the Monarchy, if you were previously in our opposition's faction. We will still accept you, as long as you never revert to your old perceptions or try to adapt their practices into our ideals.
✒ Represent when you become champions of the crucible, the more New Monarchy rewards you sport, the more people will understand how vast our power reaches.
✒ Stay true to the modified five commandments. The political rulers of the New Monarchy follow the base seven, we follow the regulated five. They will be stated below. Some of these rules are currently in the state of being impossible to enforce due to lack of authority, but one day they will be the scriptures that everyone shall be forced to abide by.
✘ To secure our walls against the enemy without and within.
✘ To secure the rights and liberties of every upstanding citizen and to remove and eliminate every dishonorable citizen who dares to impeach the potential peace of the city.
✘ To support the natural harmony of the City, and to actively d̶i̶s̶s̶u̶a̶d̶e̶ vanquish any group or individual that might disrupt that harmony.
✘ To hold all individuals, compacts, and alliances to the highest standards of productivity and right behavior, and to extinguish the light of those who fail to meet those standards.
✘ To, by vote of the Consensus, abolish the Consensus, and transfer ultimate power, in order that the rights and liberties of all citizens be secured, to a single sovereign of unimpeachable character. If that single sovereign should be deemed unfit for rule, due execution will be issued without objection by the Consensus.

I have sent out a request to join you, my fellow comrades of the New Monarchy
-
Why would you change the Tenets?
-
Edited by Kreis: 11/20/2015 4:43:57 AMI am not changing the tenets in a negative way, only improving them, this is the only for the true executors to follow. I've clarified this. It is for the sake of peace, Hideo. It's necessary to make sacrifices of our trusted morals to achieve a strong and sustaining government. Our tenets would only last us so long, dissuading a determined rebellion will do nothing, we must let them know we are absolute. Don't worry Hideo, these laws won't be enforced often. Only to deal with the unenthusiastic and detrimental causations in our peaceful and lasting society.
-
I was not saying if they were good or bad, but... While some of those modifications are good, some are bad. No offense, but one could look at your modifications and think we are more focused on controlling the City than rebuilding our Golden Age. I do not intend to insult you in any matter, but I feel our Guiding Tenets should not include extinguishing other Guardians light.
-
Edited by Kreis: 11/20/2015 6:00:37 AMComplete freedom is not a luxury we can afford when recreating such a bountiful time of production in our history, Hideo. I understand your concerns, but we are by no means turning the city into a tyrannical community. We must keep an iron grip on these civilians and guardians at such a key point in time, or they will no doubt spark rebellion with a single character making all of the executive decisions, and by no means am I willing to give up our original ways. So we must adapt. We must rebuild the Golden Age, no matter the costs. That will show everyone that we are absolute, a necessary force. Then true freedom will be issued, under the protection of a seemingly godly power, capable of bringing back the light that sparked humanity's development beyond our greatest imagination.

Edited by Executor Hideo: 11/20/2015 3:30:42 PMI see. I am still wary of how this will turn out, but... You my have support. For now... I just have one concern. Usually, the task of appointing Executors is a task left to the Executors that are specialized in selecting those capable of leadership, known as Electors. Are you one?
-
Whatever the outcome, do know that I am by your side Executor Hideo. I shall not defer from our true cause unless it is your wish for us to. That said I can understand Executor Nero's point that there may come a time when we will have to tighten our grip, but I hope that day never comes.

Edited by Kreis: 11/20/2015 2:35:17 PMIt's partially my fault for not explaining my reasoning for the transgressions against the promotion system. The New Monarchy is underfunded and broken in it's current state. "The time for talking is over, we must take action now." Rather than going through the process of becoming or gaining permission from an Elector, I have decided to take it upon myself to select Guardians who have high ranking and well displayed loyalty to the New Monarchy and promote them to the position myself. Another reason for my transgressions was that my Executors differ from the official ones we are, they are the more of a separate entity or rather the medieval definition of an Executor. They are enforcers, not executive decision makers. I will get permission before creating a Guardian who has full political power within the Monarchy. They do have a say in my decisions however, look at them as a personal consensus of enforcers. I understand it is unorthodox, but it is necessary, for the sake of our growth as a Monarchy.
-
Edited by Executor Hideo: 11/20/2015 3:31:39 PMI understand. I have done the same thing myself. We are capable of selecting certain individuals to be in certain roles, just not selecting other Executors. But why not just call them Enforcers? I have done something similar with Field Representatives. I have selected a few to act with some authority, and given them titles to represent their positions, but not called them Executors. Besides, a New Monarchy Enforcer rolls off the toungue nicely...

Oh, and responding to the main post I'm 119 in New Monarchy currently, but I'm relatively close to 120. I plan on burning 100+ motes later this afternoon on reputation for it, so I should earn around 2000 Reputation or so, however much that promotes my rank is what I will be this afternoon.

Is this clan open to everyone?
-
It is open to all who support the Monarchy. The position of an official Executor however, only belongs to those who are deemed worthy by the current Executors.
