Also the setting is where they get to hunt each other down and use whatever means nessiissary to kill each other.
K all logic rules from both universes apply. So overcharged plasma pistols and shit work. Melees to the back too.

I mean, just being honest here, the only ones they would have a problem with would be Hulk and Thor. Plasma pistol would literally kill iron-man, or a Spartan laser, and Captain America is outmatched when it comes to sheer strength, speed, intelligence, armour and weaponry. But due to Hulk and Thor's nature, I can't say. Of course, this is the movie avengers. Comics are far different. Especially with the other "guest" characters, such as Storm, Wolverine, Thing, Spider-Man, etc.
