I want some feedback, guardians! I really wanna hear some opinions!
Since most people seem to be unsure of what a Wyrm actually looks like, here are a few images to back it up.

As you can see most wyrms across many different cultures are depicted as SNAKE LIKE or even "WORM" LIKE. This can be used as a clear indication of the description that the Worm gives to the sisters.
Because Archangelion1 said it best here's what I've been trying to make connections to today. This is why I believe that the worms and Ahamkara are at least related

The worm —
Carved in my code by Sathona —
Who should be afraid —
1. It was my father’s familiar. I ripped it from him as we fled. It is a dead white thing, segmented, washed up from the deep sea.
2. It’s dead, but it still speaks to me. It says: listen closely, oh vengeance mine...
Excerpt from Skull of Dire Ahamkara
Reality is the finest flesh, oh bearer mine. And are you not…hungry?
Excerpt from Claws of Ahamkara
Look at all this life, oh bearer mine. There is so much left to burn...
Excerpt from Sealed Ahamkara Grasps
Plating the Ahamkara bones in silver helps to quiet the auditory hallucinations...oh bearer mine.
Excerpt from Young Ahamkara's Spine
Give me your arm, oh bearer mine. Let me help you fill the world with teeth.
Don't tell me you don't see the connection.
Posting a link to another thread here that makes good point because some people are just plain stupid.

TEH SPEAKER :OOOOO
-
It's says in the book of sorrows that oryx and his sisters discovered the worms in the fundament and that they are called "ahamkara in our language"
-
Your mom
-
Oryx SEMEN!
-
Wasn't there something about a vex thing that tried to become oryx and then Savathun took it?
-
The giant ribcages you see in any place associated with hive
-
No option for "Traffic Cones"
-
I'm pretty sure worms and ahamkara are similar, but not the same thing
-
I do believe that there is reference to the worms being different from the ahamkara, something about being taking to worshipping dragons? So I am moderately confident that they're different beings with the same general objective.
-
Their goa'uld from start gate
-
Worms are deitys that give hive there power but they must kill to feed them
-
The worms are the black blobs that we see in. .. the heart of the black garden. .. the chest of oryx .... in the touch of malic. Those black things are worms. Just different sizes.
-
I don't believe the Worms you see, or that are ingested by the Hive are intellegent. I think the "voices" that speak, that the Hive think are the worms, are actually the Ahemkara. The Ahemkara then trick the Hive into ingesting the worms, by pretending to be the "worms" themselves. But in reality, it's probably just some form of telepathic communication.
-
There are already some very cohesive and comprehensive posts about this. Why make another one?
-
The worms are symbiotic/parasites creatures living in the Hive that somehow feed on other creatures deaths and grant the Hive their agelessness.
-
The Skull of Dire Ahamkara Grimoire makes me think The Worm and Ahamkara are one in the same. Oryx has to continue feeding his Worm, and he hungers for more. He's also one big mutha with wings at the end of the Raid.
-
Ahamkara are other servants of the worms at about the same "rank" as the Hive Worms =/= dragons There's no way guardians would have direct dealings with something so close to the darkness like the worm gods. It'd be anathema. Think of the ahamkara as like agents
-
Worms are what the hive eat (consume) to gains strength and power and what keep them sustained
-
The thing inside TOM is a worm.
-
Little hot dogs
-
What mission did they explain this in? I might have skipped it by accident or something
-
Someone give me an honest answer. If the worms are ahamkara why did they not attack us guardians when we first met them? Surely the events on fundament took place long before the traveler arrived here.

-blam!- this shit I'm out.......
Oh bearer mine.......
-
Your know the worm on the dreadnought? Well, assuming they are hive worms, who removed it? My answer:ir yuut. She is a deathsinger-the most intelligent class of hive. And she looks the most whole of all the wizards we've seen so far. And she has blue eyes.
