I hear the word "adapt" a lot in this community. "Adapt" is a word used when you're calling out a nerf fag. I read threads and I think yeah most of the time they arw whining, but by hell please someone give me an argument that justifies the infamous hammer. I actually want a smart argument so I can see the other side of the dispute.

Hammer sol is op but it's a tank it's supposed to take hits they just need to nerf splash damage and make it a one hit only on direct impact. Other than that I feel like its fine

Edited by TheShadow: 11/19/2015 9:58:38 PMNothing meant towards you. But It amazes me how stupid a lot of people are on this forum. Why do you or for that matter anyone on here. Why do you think Bungievision makes shit OP as many may see a certain class, gear pice or weapon? Bungievision puts shit out there to see how the community reacts and it gives them feedback in a wrong way to change something else while saying they are just changing one thing. Like removing content, nerfing etc. So if you think about it. Bungievision makes certain choices off of the community's reaction. Call it a test or what ever. But they will use the community in a bad way for their advantage. Think about this for a moment. What happen to year one? Everything was nerfed and made obsolete. Deej -blam!-ed up by opening his mouth on an update. While expressing Bungievision so-call opinion. Deej's update he stated that the LFG was the main cause of why they were nerfing Ghorn. He stated It was because of all the elites required you to have max Ghorn. What he didn't state and Bungievision was quiet for almost 4 months, and Wham! An update comes out saying were also making everything obsolete. See where im going with this? How the -blam!- does Deej or Bungievision make a statement that were just adjusting a couple weapons to -blam!- all of you were nerfing every single thing and making everything obsolete? Yeah thats history, but Bungievision's attention are not history and their actions show more then their words in a bad way. So, getting back to what i started out on. You are the cause and many others to why certain things are made and certain things are removed in this game that effective this game in a majorly bad way.

Simple. The Titans deserve a ranged-attack super like the other two claaese The only problem with it is that the Titan has too much damage resistance. That---and the power of Cautery (healing after a kill)---needs to be dialed back a bit.
-
Blink. Goddamn you do NOT know how annoying it is when a Hunter just repeatedly blinks around me.
-
You're not whining when everyone is doing it
-
The only opinion that matters is Bungie's and they think it's fine as is, hence the lack of a nerf (for a change) to it in the update.
-
If timed correctly a nightstalkers super or bubble titans suppressor grenade can disable it.
-
Simple... Supress the Hammer. Defenders with Suppression Grenades and Nightstalker Tethers are the single most useful abilities in PvP at the moment because they can shut down Stormcallers and Hammers. You have to choose whether to be Agressive, or Reactive. In my experience, the players that react the best tend to win.

Edited by TruthHurts: 11/18/2015 5:46:04 PMYou can use it too. Suppression grenades. And they die eventually right? They're not invincible. So adapt. The greatest advice anyone can give you though is stop playing that boring pos chore in general.

Cus the hammer is very powerful but not really OP. It gets maybe one or two kills if the enemies are smart enough to avoid it. Only the healing needs a bit of a tweak and that's it really.

This community isn't smart.

Adapt

Truly the most effective way to beat a hammer is too run.
