When I first got this weapon, I was so happy because of it's stats. I managed to get a semi-decent role with hidden hand, graverobber, and smallbore.
So as I was playing crucible yesterday, I was testing my recently acquired Spectre, this "god" of an auto rifle. I noticed that even with it's increased impact and rate of fire, it still took a long time to drop people. So I did some testing.
Here's what I came up with:
The Zhalo Supercell and the Red Spectre have the same rate of fire.
The Zhalo Supercell with aggressive ballistics does 17 damage on a body shot.
The Red Spectre did 16 damage to the body.
This left me confused, but then I thought: "I have smallbore on the red spectre, maybe bungie decreased the impact the higher this stability is, to keep it balanced."
Yeah, nope.
I switched from smallbore and not only could I not hit the broadside of a barn, it still did 16 bodyshot damage.
Can someone please tell me how Zhalo's impact of this much:
||||||
...can do more than red spectre's impact of this much?:
|||||||||||||
What is this logic bungie?! Did you mess up the stats on the weapon? Did you not care? Did one on your weapons designers miss this? Did your testers miss it? (Oh wait, not you guys have no testers, you just let the players who pay money test it for you and fix it in an update.)
It's just like the NL Shadow 701X from house of wolves...
I'm so done.

Hard light actually does more precision damage and it has way less impact I know the feel:/
