Star Wars Battlefront flopped!
Star Wars Battlefail currently has a 73 on metacritic with more mixed reviews than positive. It was obvious that this game was a cash grab lacking mode's.
It's sad to know that E.A. have the licence, the day's of great Star Wars games like KotOR are long gone.
What score do you guys think Star Wars Battlefront will achieve on metacritic over the next few days? My prediction is a 66 overall...

Here are the numbers, look at how low the player base is for a new release. Star Wars BattleFail definitely flopped...

It's basically a shooter with the "Star Wars feel" thrown onto it. EA's way of License Advantaging.

3 RepliesYeah the Beta was really telling. It was pretty crummy. Too many people equate great graphics with a great game, but that's not the case. Battlefront is what happens when EA kills Star Wars and walks around wearing it's skin.

It succeeded. Not to say it's not a cash grab. But I feel it's a fun, casual, immersive, game. Sure it's nothing too special but the attention to detail, and Battlefield style gameplay makes me want to play it.

Yeah it's definitely a cash grab, but I knew that but reading pre launch articles, and playing the beta. I did my own research, made my own opinions, and decided not to buy. Who gives a flying fuk about reviews. I am an adult, I know what I like and what I don't. Some of my favorite games score around a 70 on metacritic. It's turned into a bit of a game with me and my buddies actually.

2 RepliesMaybe so, too early to say yet. It's holiday season and most say scale up a little later. As for my opinion on the game. I find it a nice title. Though it lacks in quantity it does make for it on quality. I have been able to kill with most guns (that I don't suck with, look at the pulse cannon). That actually does demonstrate merit of balancing of equipment. Though I admit I do miss the clone wars era and the class system in Battlefront 2. All in all is quite decent, one could even call it a good multiplayer game. I wonder what the expansions will hold. Eitherway different variables make this game a hit or a miss for some.
