I don't think cutting the disc in half affects it's density at all.

  • Actually it may have. By cutting the disc in half, it is possible that he created a rip in the space time continuum and brought on a devastating vortex which probably has altered its reality. It's density is changed forever. We may see a broken disc, but what it actually is now is 2 different opposing worlds inside with puppies, kitties, and gorlacks who hold technologies much greater than our own and ripped from a different world in a different time. We could learn so much from them. ...and sadly enough he just probably threw it the trash. Some people might think I'm insane, but I'm not the one who's carelessly throwing important discoveries in the trash to later be compacted or rot in some dump.
