Bungie: Once and for all can you openly tell us if Mouse and Keyboard IS or IS NOT cheating?

Now if the xbox elite controller and scuf controllers are acceptable and The hori tac 4 is natively supported on Playstation then what is wrong with people using Mouse and Keyboard?? (xim4)

Where as xim4 just translates all your mouse movements through the controller to the console, it doesn't change the way it behaves or do anything the game can't already do.
Scuf controllers give the same advantage IMHO, if your not good with a mouse then a xim4 won't magically make you any better.
And just because something gives an advantage (xim4, scuf, elite, kontrol freeks etc) doesn't mean its cheating, anyone can go out and buy one of these.
Don't you think if it was such a big deal bungie would have said something by now.
I'm 100% sure they're okay with it, and until they say otherwise who are you to bash on other players for their choice of hardware?
Would be awesome to get a response from bungie...

People who complain and accuse people who use a M/KB of cheating just can't fathom the fact that there is someone better than them at the game or any game for that fact. Just like how everyone used to try and say shesmynerd used a keyboard when in all actuality he just used bumper jumper. Scrubs will be scrubs and good player will be good with or without a controller or keyboard and mouse. It comes down to hand eye coordination, muscle memory and mental capacity.

The monent they do a disability support group will lob a sueball claiming discrimination. Sony and Microsoft could have easily added encryption so only official controlled would work but they didn't. If it'd OK for them to allow other controllers it should be OK for the games developers.

4 RepliesIs it an official unaltered PS or Xbox product? If yes then it's fine. If no, then at any point the company in question can enforce their ToS and ban you for it's use. If it require third party software installation then it's even more against ToS and could result in civil or criminal proceedings. It's not up to Bungie. First it's up the system providers, and then it's up to Bungie, but if the provider doesn't allow it that precludes Bungies position.

4 RepliesIt's not. Just play the game and stop worrying over trivial stuff like that. I don't have a Xim4 mainly because I think it's outrageously expensive but I don't have a problem with people who use it.

Well if they dont say its cheating then its not, and all you kids will have to find a new excuse for why you die, because heaven admit you're actually bad at the game... it must be something else.

1 ReplyTwo of my mates on Xbox One are CS:GO guys and use keyboard and mouse. They don't seem to have an advantage as far as I can tell.
