    I can see others have already asked this, but why not a PC? Or rather build one, it's cheaper still. Seriously. If you have an equivalent Mac and PC, which one is more expensive? The Mac. You'd be saving $100-$400 simply by going PC. Apple is very good at giving you average for premium price. Unless you are an art student.... Otherwise a PC can do whatever a Mac can better. Even then, purchasing a computer for one thing is one of the worst reasons to do so. [spoiler]My laptop cost me $2100. Custom built. If apple had an equivalent, it would more than likely cost $3000 or more.[/spoiler]
