Is there a limit to how far the power from generators will travel? I tried hooking wires up to pylons to power my water source but after three pylons I could no longer attaché wires.

You must be out of copper for your wiring.

Hmm, haven't had this happen. I personally don't like wires everywhere, so I build small huts all around my base, put a generator in it, and use a minimum amount of wire.
