[b][u]Lullaby Of A Deadman[/u][/b]
[u]The Dreadnought [/u]
[b]A lone, tattered hunter shambles through the mausoleum of the Dreadnought, parts of the armor seemingly torn off completely by force to reveal partially charted bone underneath. The hunter in question wielding a large scythe in one hand along with a handgun of the same color in his offhand. He seems to be weak, or atleast he is good at faking it. [b]
"[i]You're next... Traitors of Oryx.[/i]"
[b]He raised his handgun slowly and angled the weapon's sight infront of his left eye while still struggling to walk. His eyes focused on his surroundings and his ears listening due any sound, no matter how minute.
He simply waited, and remained there motionless with weapons drawn, awaiting anyone that may be unfortunate enough to cross his line of sight.[/b]

Zeus sees him and walks towards him, "hey want are you doing all the way out here?"

[b]He glances over his shoulder before aiming the revolver at the stranger's head and sighing. He then lowers his weapon and shakes his head.[/b] "Don't sneak up on me like that."

"Eh, this place is not for someone like you, unless you are disguised as a Guardian and actually Hive." Alpha says from behind.

"I'm neither. I'm just waiting for my target." [b]He aims the weapon skyward casually with his finger on the trigger guard. Light reflecting off of the weapon and revealing markings of unknown origin on the barrel.[/b]

"Oh, like me? Except that i have no target."

"Hey, are you alright?" [b]xerox said from behind him, she didn't like the way he stumbled around. It could mean that he needed help[/b]

[b]The hunter laughs dryly as he keeps the handgun trained on the horizon.[/b] "Mercy from the King's Daughter? Never heard of it." [b]He aims his weapon at the corridor nearby and rests his finger on the trigger, awaiting something.[/b]

[b]xerox walks up to him and rests a hand on his shoulder[/b] "You don't look alright, do you need any medical aid?"

"I don't need any help. In fact I'm in a better shape than you." [b]He twirls his handgun quickly before stopping it after the first rotation with the weapon still aimed at the door.[/b] "Just awaiting my prey."

"Limping isn't a sign of health. But if you insist that you're fine." [b]Xerox lets go of his shoulder, a small bit of taken smoke lingers there[/b]

[b]He ignores it and sighs anxiously.[/b] "You need to make the enemy think you're weak and then move in for the kill. Something my target will never know." [b]He takes his eyes off the horizon only for a second to scan his surroundings before returning his gaze to the doorway.[/b] "Something this Son Of Oryx won't know. Sure you might have the highest success rate as a tactician but tactics only take you so far."

"Son of oryx..... Is his name serrov by any chance?"

"Yes. The thing is that he has done something to be listed an a HVT by my superiors." [b]He sheathes his scythe on his back before standing up to his normal height and using his main hand to hold the handcannon along with his offhand.[/b] "I'm guessing that you're going to go on about the whole 'you can only kill Hive gods if you're in their Throne World' nonsense. But the truth is that I don't need to do that."

"I'm not, I'm going to ask why you're going after him. What has he done to get the vanguard, a lightless, and you, after him?"

"Merely existing. And his actions have proven our point time and time again." [b]Footsteps are heard in the distance and progressively get louder. [/b] "Anyways. I have a target to kill."

[b]a wall of taken energy appears in the door way[/b] "Saying that he lives isn't a good excuse for killing someone. And he does these things because everyone immediately attacks him."

"Do you think that there are exceptions? There aren't, and this is my target." [b]He shoots at the wall of energy and it shatters into multiple glass-like fragments which then fall to the ground and fade away.[/b] "And I'd rather not fight two people today so I'd suggest that you not interfere with this."

"Fine, but if he lives and you come after him again, I'll protect him with my life."

"That's suicide, you know. I guess perhaps I should start a business that kills Hive gods." [b]He swings the cylinder of the revolver open and ejects the rest of the rounds out of the cylinder before catching one and loading the bullet.[/b] "I only need one shot and he's dead."

"You probably don't understand that people would die to save their friends."

"There's no saving him. Unless you have an affinity for dead corpses." [b]He closer the cylinder of the revolver and places his hand on the scythe's handle, the footsteps now becoming much louder.[/b]

[b]xerox begins to get annoyed, she couldn't let her friend die by this man's hand[/b]

"You do realize that I'm giving you mercy right now, correct?" [b]He aims the revolver over his shoulder before aiming it back at the doorway and laughing nonchalantly.[/b]

"Doesn't mean that I like the thought of a friend dying."

"He's almost here. Hopefully I can prove my point to you." [b]Several seconds later, a hunter wearing familiar Vex-Hive armor walks through the door and draws two handguns from his sides when he sees the two, one handgun being similar in design to Thorn and the other being Ivory and black in color.[/b] "[i]Two people trying to kill me today? As if I've done wrong...[/i]"
