Now you may be thinking this kid is out of his damn mind, you are right for now til the sun-breakers remains the OP Boss it is #TitanMasterRACE but I asked myself what will be the next big thing I mean I am sure in destiny if one goes down another
rises, there is no balance IMO. Storm trance get both Transcendence and ionic blink. Before nerfs occur I am hopefully going to conduct experiments in my spare time. But with Ionic blink and transcendence you get more coverage and super time than the titans. Which means more kills can happen with storm trance than sunbreaker ever wished to have, you may be saying the titans also had more damage reduction and health regeneration. You are right they do, but the stormtrance have blink which is better that year 1 blink and have the natural ability to chain to 3 people at a time. So as much all three of you are putting damage on the warlock, the warlock is killing all three of you anyway at the same time, so not only the ionic blink would confuse the opponent your ability can kill three at a time, and it stays for a long time and can travel far baring you have both melee and grenade energy when you use your super.
So this begs the question.
What do you think is going to be the next most overpowered super after the December nerfs?
I think it's stormtrance
Please vote so we can decide if it's something we should look into before the patch comes.

I agree with you. When something falls another rises, and Storm trance will be next. PvPers won't be happy till every super is as ineffective as Arc blade in PvE.
-
Nightstalker. The void bow is much faster than a Nova Bomb, but if you have good aim, is pretty much the same thing. I am alright with this. The problem is when you find a Hunter with 3 fast nova bombs in the Pocket. Yes, I think that Quiver is OP.

All it every will be in this game is nerf this. Nerf that. Nerf this. Nerf that. Guys its just a stupid game, kick back, RELAX and just play for fun. Use what is fun for you and stop raining on everyones parade.
-
I'm not a fan of nerfing. Buffing is a better way to go about things. But i think stormtrance might be more op than hammers right now. Just less people using them. If sunbreakers get nerfed to being worthless. You shall see how op they already are

Both should stay exactly the same but have their duration decreased SIGNIFICANTLY. Like, more than half of the current duration should be removed. These supers should about activating round the corner from a bunch of enemies and then rushing them and clearing them out, they shouldn't be about running from one end of the Map to the other wiping the whole opposition team. This change should be in PvP ONLY though, and they never seem to want to do that.

Stormtrance is great at close range. It long or medium it just gets focussed or domed

It is seriously mind boggling to me why you all cry nerf because of a super, lets flip it since the bulk majority that i have seen make nerf posts are hunters. Hypothetically, titans and warlocks have been nerfed into the ground you are once again the top of the crucible with your supers and almost unstoppable again... What do you think happens then? Because titans and warlocks will just start screaming nerf on you also making your super useless. Nerfing gets us nowhere instead they should flip perks around (add and change others) and actually ask the community what WE all want to see happen rather than go ''they are bitching again bring this down to a useless level so they can all cry over something else for 3 damn months''

Storm trance is easy to stop. They don't get armor, so as long as you're out of range, drilling them in the head is cake. Hammers are such trouble because they have all the health and armor buffs.
-
With the new update hunters get a new chest piece that increases time with arc blade
-
No more nerfs because of PvP! PvP should have PvP-only weapons and armor that is separate from anything in the game and which cannot be used in PvE. All PvE armor and weapons and supers should be banned from PvP (only keep supers in the Mayhem playlist). That way PvE players won't have to suffer nerfs because of PvP whiners.
-
Titans should be limited to 3 hammers like Hunter's golden gun and shadow shot
-
I honestly think it goes back to Golden Gun.

There's two things that set Stormtrance aside though. First is that while, yes, the lightning does chain, you have to be close to your opponent for it to arc to them. Not as close as Bladedance, but closer than a Fist of Havok with Shockwave. Also, if you're too close it won't automatically target someone just because you're holding the fire button. If they see you coming, all it takes is a rocket, machine gun, or super to knock you out of it. If you telegraph too much, and charge straight ahead at them, even a Scout or Pulse can do it. Blink does provide the ability to confuse the enemy, but no more or less than a Bladedancer's invisibility. Perhaps it could be tweaked slightly to consume a bit of your duration for movement speed though. Secondly, it's not Perpetual Charge that you're thinking of. That one gives to grenade energy for melee kills and vice-versa. The ability in question is Transcendence. On paper, it seems overpowered, but it can be ... Twitchy. There have been times that I was killed the moment I popped my Super, despite supposedly getting full health (probably some sort of lag, but I'm unsure. Might just be a programmed delay.) Also, I think you overestimate just how difficult it is to hold on to both your Melee and Grenade for the sake of your Super. Perhaps it's just me, but if someone gets right in my face, and I don't have a shotgun, my first instinct is to throw a melee. And there's plenty of opportunities you could miss if you refuse to throw that Arc Bolt grenade around the corner for the sake of your Super. And can you imagine having the perfect opportunity to use a Stormtrance, but holding off just because your melee and/or grenade aren't fully charged? It's a situational ability at best. Overpowered when everything is in your favor, but you may as well not even have it if everything isn't.

Defenders Titans are so op everyone overlooks it because they're to scared to say it's to op
-
The 3% who said SunSinger are brain dead. They've never been the best since I started playing, and that's almost a year ago.
-
Sorry storm trance is very situational. Very strong at times but needs to be close. Golden gun (come the return of Symbiote) will be beast mode and four straight kills in the right hands.
-
bubble of titan
-
I myself main warlock, and I admit: if stormtrance is used properly, its op as -blam!-
-
Edited by KrishnaDaBeast: 11/20/2015 3:51:07 AMInteresting results, like expected but sunbreaker you think still might be as good as golden gun? Well we just have to wait till patch BTW weapon patch for December came out.
-
Whoever voted striker is brain dead
-
To me storm trance is the one everone shoukd be bitching at, sadly good players with warlocks are so few n far between no one sees the OP in that super, so we should keep schtum cos I'm getting tired of this nerfing bullshit ... We should be upgrading other supers to balance
-
You know if they slow down the health regen from cauterize and reduce the splash from the hammers and their aoe damage it would still be extremely good right? A direct hit to a stormcaller from a hammer kills them in one hit every time.
-
You realize that using Blink in Stormtrance uses a LOT of super energy. We can't just blink around as fast as we can or we burn out. Even with it extended it doesn't last that long. You are also really really vulnerable while using it as your was is easily exposed and hit.
-
If sunbreaker gets nerfed people will complain that another subclass is OP, it never stops
