Probably killed like 12 so far. Did a lot of exploring in the glowing sea.

So far I've run into a few. One in Concord, the second one ambushed me near a crater(sucker burst up from the ground). The third one near the Red Rocket Station near Sanctuary. There were a few others but I don't remember how many or where.

There's a few places with guaranteed deathclaws like **mini spoiler**[spoiler]the museum of witchcraft[/spoiler] and random events like 2 deathclaws fighting and ive always met atleast 2 deathclaws everytime im in the glowing sea.

Fairly frequently whenever I fast travel to a specific roof a scripted one shows up

2 on my first trip to the glowing sea. One glowing and one alpha. 3 other randoms exploring.

I'm level 19 and encountered 5 so far. Not playing on a hard difficulty. - #1 in Concord after you get the power suit - #2 I forgot where - #3 and #4 both on the same spot in Boston next to a highway or something - #5 in the Kendall hospital

As a level 47 I ran across an Alpha Deathclaw and a regular Deathclaw. All I used was my upgraded UP77 Limitless Potential. It didn't end well for them...

Rare. And I've never encountered 2 at once. Other than unscripted I have found only like 2 random deathclaws. And this is on very hard

Glowing sea is the place to go

Often. I play on Survival and I like to venture off unto the Glowing Sea at the end of each of my playthroughs just for fun. They're mostly at the top right of the map, the very middle of the left most part of the map, or the Glowing Sea itself.

I'm thinking about switching to survival . But what's the difference??

A LOT more legendaries, and if you use a stimpack/eat it takes [b][u]forever[/u][/b] to heal rather than instantenous full health.

Hrrrmmm...so is it really worth it? Like loot wise are you getting better guns and armor? If it's just harder enemies I won't switch, but if I get some gear that was worth it I'm in. :p thanks for the info bro.

I find them here and there. Heavy weaponry required. That or be clever with a rifle.
