It seems ironic to me that one of the reasons they didn't bring year one weapons forward was for balance. Basically they wanted people to use a variety of weapons and still be viable in year two. However I used more of a variety of vanilla weapons than I do now. I primarily use one primary weapon. I usually have a 1000 yard stare sniper on and a sword. That is is. I rarely divert from that other than in the raid and I use my primary through quite a lot of that as well. Basically they have done the opposite for me. Back in vanilla destiny I would use a variety of auto rifles, the devil you don't, a variety of scout rifles, suros, mida, and a slew of heavy machine guns and rocket launchers. They were all fun to use and I would switch all the time. Now, not so much. Perhaps I am in the minority here but it backfired with me anyway.

Maybe even the typical reaction, if this thread is any indication. If their goal was "diversity," then TTK failed tremendously; now, there's almost less diversity than when the game launched.
