Not everyone has the time to spend collecting fragments.
Some only play for short periods of time a week.
Please stop being smug and saying
"Tkn kings been out for long enough so you should have it"
I am truly sorry you have that much free time to play a game.
Go outside
Breathe the fresh air
Its a joke
Its to make fun of all the posts about TOM
But its also a grim reminder that bungie contradicts itself.
Saying we don't want weapons that everyone will require. Then putting in a gun that obviously everyone will require.
That's the real joke....
I am truly sorry you have that much free time to play a game. Go outside Breathe the fresh air
Literally took me an hour to get all the ones on Patrol (including all the level 2 CoO), and maybe 20 minutes for the NF one. The rest of the time was spent waiting for the level 3 CoO to reset. And I understand what you're saying is supposed to be a joke but this weapon is literally a "go and get it" weapon. You have to make a conscious decision to not get it and if you make that decision you can't be mad if you get kicked from a group for not having it

What's with these posts? If a team requires something you don't agree with don't join it. Form your own team and make your own rules.
-
Completed my first 3 Hard Raids with a Smite of Merain, Raid Pulse. (Firefly on this thing is insane) If a Fireteam won't accept you without a particular weapon, it's because they're not good enough at the game to succeed without it.
-
If you have time to do the raid, you have time to get the fragments. It takes less time to collect all fragments than it takes an average team to go through the raid.
-
It's perfectly fine to require it for a hard mode group But normal? Come on, son

Edited by Guardian5576: 11/13/2015 2:01:25 PMThe opinion is completely idiotic especially the point about people not having time to play..... if you get on for an hour or two thats plenty time to get fragments for TOM.... you can get the ones in patrol and strike in less then an hour by following a simple video..... even the ones gained from tier 3 court and cabal sky burner key should take WAY less then an hour .... its not NOT having time . Its YOU being a lazy ass.... and if you argue that you play less then an hour then you shouldn't even be concerned with raiding lol TL;DR no excuse to not have a TOM by now besides you're a lazy -blam!-....

Edited by Doc SoCal: 11/13/2015 4:52:30 PMI know... it is insane that everyone wants people to have a gun that you can just go get with no RNG involved at all. I mean come on Destiny Elitists, you have to demand weapons that only falls out of slot machines! This one you just follow a specific path and they hand it to you. TOO EASY! Bungie making a weapon this effective in the Raid so easy to get is simply unacceptable. #actualsatire

Sign here if you soloed the final mission to get tom

Shut up meg

If you have time to do the raid, you have time to get the Touch of Malice.
-
Been playing bout 5 hours a week and have it ....
-
I play 10 hours a week and I have it :/
-
I found I think 33 of these fragments before even knowing what what you could of received from it when ttk released. That was just running around patrol and doing activities and such. Finding the remainder literally took no time when learning where the rest were. So that part really doesn't even take a lot of time.
-
I will admit that I don't have ToM before I make this post, but that's simply because I've decided to do other things instead, such as the Sleeper and Sword quests, as well as run the raid (without a chance of reward) to make sure I know the mechanics pretty well before going into HM. That being said, the only really...time related part is waiting from one reset to another for a different boss from T3 CoO. You don't even have to do that if you time it right.
-
If you have time for a raid with a bunch of randoms, you definitely have enough time to get ToM
-
Really? Like 20 mins on a YouTube video and you're done.
-
It took me 30 minutes.
-
To days show was brought to you by the letter B
b is for butt hurt
-
I've done the raid 5 times with my hunter and I only have a chest piece and a cloak. Why? My friends have gotten full gear after their 2nd or 3rd time completing kings fall
-
Took me 1 hour and I only had 7 I see no excuses
-
This isn't the Gjallarhorn Age. There's really no reason anyone should be complaining about not having a weapon that's available to everyone. You can easily get 1 or 2 fragments a day, and I mean EASILY. That's if you only have like 30 or less minutes a day to play.
-
While I do agree that the elitism is petty and doesn't really contribute much to the community but finding the fragments is not that tough using a guide on youtube. It should take an hour or two.
-
Also don't blame bungie, the said they would make paths more clear to get weapons, this one is VERY clear. No RNG involved. It's just one of few exotics (Black Spindle, Sleeper) that are really good for the raid. At least it's not RNG based.
-
I just got it today. I did a little bit every day since 2.0 launch. It took forever, but surprisingly enough, it was easier than the swords and certainly easier than first curse. It's a fun gun. Get it if you're bored.
-
You don't need ToM to do the raid, just makes it easier.
-
I put off getting the fragments for a long time because I thought it would be very time consuming, but it really wasn't. The longest parts were the raid (of course) and for me tier 2 court of oryx (couldn't get the ones I needed to pop up and then ran out of stolen runes). If you are looking for them without the help of a guide then ya it will take you a long time, but with the help of a guide you could get most in about an hour.
