What's up, forum
I'm hoping some of the folks who browse and regularly troll each other are streamers, or at least, do some sort of video capture in the like, because, if you are, then, I need some help.
I'm looking into picking up an Elgato this week so I can begin video recording and streaming(at some point)
I'm not 100% sure on how it all works though and what exactly to buy.
I'm sure it's preference, but, would it be a good idea to invest in a webcam? if so, a certain brand, Logitech?
For video and streaming quality, would 720p 60 FPS be ok? or should I drop to 30 FPS or bump it up?
My laptop's processor is an Intel Core I5 2410M 8(or 16, can't remember) GB Windows 8.1.
Download: 94 Mbps, Upload: 34 Mbps, Wireless
Is there anything I'd need to upgrade? anything else I need to get? optimal settings for my hardware?
Should I pick up the Limited Edition Glacier White ElgatoHD60 or just pick up the standard HD?
Thanks in advance!
Edit: I'm assuming I'd be streaming via my Laptop's download/upload rate, huh? I'll have to invest in a 5G adapter, but, the speed would be the same.
Edit 2: Switched to #Offtopic, maybe the fluud can help out, too much Fallout 4 clogging #Gaming
