I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING AWESOME DEALING WITH A NEW ENEMY TYPE THING! Ok...a cloning race. Yeah yeah "Well the Taken are basically clones of the other races." No. Enemy cloning...Guardians without light but fueled by pure darkness. Ok. So the enemy will clone one person from the fireteam and said clone will use whatever grenades, weapons, and subclass it wants and it is approximately 2x stronger than the original Guardian. But here's the catch, if the original Guardian doesn't have a perk unlocked on their subclass or guns, the clone won't have it either. Boom. Done. I win. *drops mic* Maybe this new race can be produced from the Traveler. [spoiler]I say the Traveler because in this idea, the Traveler becomes corrupt and becomes engulfed by Darkness, but the Guardians have some other source of Light[/spoiler] Maybe this could be, maybe, a raid or just a completely new storyline even bigger than TTK and Vanilla. AND THEN IN THE RAID WE FIGHT THE DEAD [spoiler]Because the Dark Traveler can produce overpowered clones of past allies and infuse them with the power of Darkness so they can get their own abilities[/spoiler] So we can fight Eris Morn's fireteam, The Stranger and her Fireteam [spoiler]We discover that they died in between the end of the vanilla version of Destiny and present time[/spoiler] And we can fight all of the Awoken that died...Mara Sov. And everyone else like the VoG people (Kabr, Praedyth, etc.) Toland, The guy that made Thorn, The Runaway Sunbreakers, maybe Cayde-6's and Ikora Rey's past students, maybe even their dead mentors, Osiris, just...everyone we've heard and even haven't heard of all cloned and evil. The last story mission will obviously be the one where you fight yourself as a clone, the reason why the Dark Traveler can clone you even while alive is because [spoiler]It can! It's basically God.[/spoiler] This is just my idea...I generated these thought as I typed so this might be a little over the top. But still a good idea, in my opinion. If this idea get's disregarded like it never existed 1. I'll cry my face off. 2. Please consider my other idea: Faction Wars! (I wrote a post about this already.)
