There are skirmish games that never end. Apparently it's a glitch that happens occasionally. I don't have any proof to give you directly, but I'm sure you can find it on YouTube.

Doesn't matter 280 kills still register, I've left games and it still records on my stats

It was a match where the timer stops at :01 and never ends. I had 182 kills in one game because the game never ended. The score was like 110,000 for Alpha and 70,000 for Bravo.

The skirmish match can't end. So the score can't be recorded.

It's true. Not sure how it happens but some skirmish games stop at :01 and never end. I've only ever been in one and ended up leaving with like 80 kills. If you want you can probably YouTube some footage of it.
