one of the funniest things that I wanna point out... TTK released almost 2 months ago, in that time period most games would've come and gone thru many gamers minds. I personally used to grind one game for a week or two, complete it, then shelf it for all eternity. this game has already given most of us more time to kill than many games on the market. yet ppl still bitch

I have to agree with this one

That's more due to grinding mechanics and unfair RNG than content. In other games you don't end up playing the same exact bounties, strike type content, etc. the reason people are still playing is somewhat because this game is somewhat designed like an addictive drug that toys with your mind's simple natures. Other games also haven't costed me 140 dollars and then asked for microtransaction money. HOWEVER That is not the argument at hand. Neither is the morality or efficiency of time gating to be honest. This is about false advertisement, about the fact that half the armors I paid for and expected to be able to earn (they were a significant factor as to my purchase), are unobtainable. Not a word on the factor has been said by Bungie. Anyway, yes. I've enjoyed this game and sunk hundreds upon hundreds of hours into it. That doesn't make business practices (that would be illegal in any other place) like false advertisement acceptable.

I wasn't really commenting on the matter at hand, as that's a debate that can never be answered since both sides have valid points. yes this games life is full of repetitive grinding...but every game I've ever sunk more than 50 hours into turned into repetitive grinding anyway
