Edit: Thanks guys, I get that I spelled guaranteed wrong I've fixed it now...
I know this has been happening from the beginning of trials and I'm SURE it's very lucrative with some people 'charging' upwards of $120 or more to carry total scrubs to the lighthouse (I was watching a stream where I'm surprised the guy being carried could even complete PvE content, he was charging $80 per card and some unknown higher amount if you wanted insurance just in case you had to wipe a card once which would be another $80 without that extra amount up front).
I'm torn on this issue, people have been making money or benefiting from the inadequacies of people that can't do something from the beginning of time. But, this 'service' they are providing kind of seems wrong to me.
What are all of you fine guardian's opinions? Please elude without incriminating yourself if you are someone that gets paid upwards of $800-$1,600 per week (split between the two carrying the nubs). If they only charge $80 and on average a trials run without wipe takes an hour that would be the same as someone making roughly $84,000 if it is an equal split between the two doing the carrying and that is what they did 40 hours a week (Trials lasts for roughly 96 hours; so, if there is a steady flow of individuals that are desperate to go to the light house you could make the bi-weekly wage of an upper-middle income individual in just one trials weekend...)

Bungie shouldn't do anything. If someone is stupid enough to waste their money on it. Let them
-
I couldn't defend myself in court, I couldn't give my car a paint job, I couldn't couldn't cook myself a 5 star 5 course meal (make a mean hot pocket though! ). If ppl want to pay for a service, even if it is in a video game, to ppl that are capable of doing something they themselves can't do.....whatever it's their money.
-
Man you can nearly buy 2 new games for the price of one of these carries.....sheesh
-
If someone is dumb enough to pay $5+ for this then let it be a lesson if they don't make it. And depending on the country it's most likely illegal
-
It's sad that people feel they need to spend so much money on loot that's so random. And it's disgusting anyone who makes a dollar on others desperation. Both sides are to blame. And really are pathetic on both ends.
-
People want to be retarded no lives let them
-
120 is overkill. Ryth0m is the lowest charge I've seen at $15
-
The loot isn't really worth that much is it?
-
There is an actual web site company for this. I won't link to prevent more people
-
Poll option: Law Enforcement Crack down on this Since Flawless Carries that are charged is most likely a form of business, that needs to have taxes payed. Not one of these streamers would be paying taxes on this.
-
Is "winning" trials even that big of a deal? I went flawless 3 times during the last trials (before TTK) and that was enough of the game mode for me. Why spend so much money on non-elemental primaries, crappy reskinned loot, and a meh emblem? It is all going to be worthless in a year anyways...
-
Bungie doesn't give a shit, it's free publicity for them, it's obviously against the ToS but instead of charging for a flawless run many of these streamers that carry people will instead carry those that give "donations". Either way it's sad and pathetic....
-
It's sad people can't find on they're friends list a team of people who are coordinated with a plan and can execute it
-
People who pay to be carried are dumb, desperate, self entitled halfwits. Just because people can get there, they feel they deserve the lighthouse trip - that's more to do with entitlement (I paid for the game I deserve the adept, when it should be, that's a cool gun, maybe I will earn it one day) and there are numerous groups/individuals that exploit this and offer carry for cash - is that not a breach of some sort (non affiliates profiting) so there could be some legal dispute for those of you who are so utterly butt hurt by this. But this kind of culture is encouraged when top tier rewards are tied to a "competitve" (lol) game mode. Its this same culture that also led to lag switch/bridge, ddos, and other (insert) exploits.

Your maths and logic is so out of preportion

Capitalism. But who cares. If someone wants to waste irl money for in game loot, let em
