Honest question, but when did Bungie actually advertise these other exotics? Might be wrong, but the pictures xur released didn't include anything that hasn't been released to my knowledge. Rest of these exotics were found either by data mining or possibly a few in trailers (correct me if I'm wrong).

They were in several trailers, mentioned in several interviews and some ppl even got them from engrams trough a glitch that was patched. So Bungie is doing the worst and most disgusting thing I ever seen in a tripple A game. Gimegating items trough a "switch" on purpose to extend the gametime with throwing breadcrumbs for us to collect instead of giving us the full package. The excuse of eliminating the push from other ppl was basically ruined by themelf the first week anyway trough the ToC farming lol. The problem is that Bungie forces their way of playing the game for everyone. If someone wanted to rush all the exotics on day then be my fukin guest lol I would say... I dont give a -blam!- what some other dude does and how he plays his game.

You can search for them and see them all in the database. They all have models and all have perks. A few people have some of the exotics.

Yes, you're right. They are in the database. Still don't remember Bungie ever specifically "advertising" them, but placing them in the database like they're in the game yet they aren't obtainable is pretty bad.

Trailers is advertising. The half dozen per class quote isn't false advertising, but it is being deceitful as to the content you are giving them money for. And after everything, they remain silent.
-
showcasing them in scenes from the trailers is "advertising" them

6 of the 9 are shown in gameplay trailers, and in an interview with game informer they were DIRECTLY quoted in saying there were half a dozen new exotic armors for each class.

They are in the database, they were also in the trailer for the game.
