There's a difference between paying for ownership and paying for access. When you pay for a can of soup, you own it. When you paid for Destiny, you only own the disc and case. Digitally though, you paid to own a license. Neither of these mean you own the game itself so your point is moot. The only other part your money paid for was access, potential or immediate notwithstanding.

Didn't ask if that can was required by law to contain soup. Just asked what you intended to buy based on the label.
