So, i dismantled my sword
As the title states, i dismantled my legendary sword from the "A Broken Will" quest, at the time i had no idea that, 1. swords don't drop, and 2. you need it to get the exotic version.
Now i'm kind of [i]boned[/i]
So, my question is, is there any way to get the legendary sword again? I've looked in the abandoned quests kiosk and there's nothing there for it.

Do it on another character. The only time my hunter's been of use >:D

Hello, Bungie is unable to recover accidentally deleted items and there is no way to get the sword back other than creating a new character. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12211 I recommend using the lock feature to make sure that your items are safe from accidental deletion. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12775

Hi, SwegFeg Bungie unfortunately cannot refund items that have been dismantled or lost in any way. The only way you can get your legendary or exotic sword again is to use another character and complete the quest line again. Sorry. I hope this has helped. -Xplosive Roundz.

Including myself, thanks to some little fingers who helped me. 😒 So, I redid the quest with another character. However, I did send a "bug" & tweet to Bungie with my player ID. I fired up my player today who lost the sword and it looks like Bungie "reset" all my quests. I'm already through the 1st year. Super easy and fast with a lvl40 character. They also know about this complaint by other players and it sounds like a fix may be coming! 👍
