So my step son is about to be 7 years old and he's starting to show interest in video games. His reading skills aren't insanely strong but that's OK. That's what the gameboy and pokemon red is for. Figured I'd let him try some stuff on the Xbox and so far hes shown me ways to die in several games I didn't know we're possible. Although to be fair lego dimensions can be a little tricky in some places. But he discovered something on the Xbox. Something I had forgotten and wished was banished far far away. My guilty pleasure masochistic game N+. For those that havent heard of or played this fairly old game i say try it out! Really! Youll be inventing new cuss words in no time! Might even get some grey hairs! I redownloaded it on the One thanks to the backwards compatibility thing last july. He's now obsessed with this tiny little ninja and the thousand ways he has to die trying to complete these puzzles. I give him respect for trying but he's been on the same level for 15 minutes now and its getting bad. His mom wants me to let him keep playing but I want to just put him out of his misery. Just cause it looks like a kids game doesn't mean it's actually for kids *cough battle block theater* So who else out there has a young child that's a beginner gamer? What games did you start them on and what do they play currently? Any suggestions for something that can help increase dexterity/hand eye coordination? We play outside fairly often but on rainy days like today the Xbox gets a lil more attention.
