Fallen Raid Idea - Ancients Spire Part 1 (Lore, Setup)

Enemy Theme: Fallen, House of Rain Average Enemy Level: Recommended Light Level: Location: The Reef, Axeleyth Spire The Axeleyth Spire was once a glorious pinnacle to the Awoken and was set to host the absolute best and brightest scientific minds they could provide. Tragically the tower drifted into a inhospitable section of the Asteroid Belt during the Reef Wars and was not deemed important enough for the Awoken to waste resources recovering in the times of strife that followed. Eventually the Spire faded into nothing more than an urban legend. The House of Rain had similarly faded from the minds of the Fallen but had they known the truth, they would have called it a horror story instead. After the Whirlwind and the abandonment of the Great Machine, no aspect of the Eliksni culture escaped unharmed. The House of Rain was inflicted by a terrible plague brought by the invaders of the Darkness and even as they fled, their ships became nothing more than floating coffins, choked with the dead and twisted bodies of great heroes and wise prophets. The Kell of Rain, Xerlac desperately sought an answer, but gazing into the future offered no salvation for her people. Gazed back into their past however, she saw a champion to save her kind, maybe even the true Kell of Kells. What she really saw, was a fabrication of madness, conjured by the Darkness itself to manipulate her and by extension the rest of her kind into becoming it's servants. Now the house of Rain, wrought by plague, blinded by devotion to an abstract horror masquerading as a hopeful dream, has arrived in the Reef. And their sickness is beginning to spread. [b]Pre Stage 1A: Avili's Beacon[/b] • At the start of the Raid, players will approach as an area of the Reef which features a beacon like tower. This tower will activate shortly after the party arrives and will pulse every 60 to 85 seconds. During this time, the players have to defend the tower from the Fallen that are attacking them. Servitors called Plague Shells will also start spawning, and if they are within a certain range of the tower, will begin extending the times between the pulses. • After 5 to 6 pulses, an ancient Awoken ship, called the Seraphim, will appear in the distance and the nearby jump pads will also activate. [b]Pre Stage 1B: Passage to Axeleyth[/b] • At the same time as the Seraphim arrives, Fallen Skiffs will start appearing above the nearby asteroids between the tower and the Seraphim. Players need to use the jump pads to reach the ship whilst avoiding the enemies. Simply make your way to the platform in front of the ship and you will be teleported inside. After all the players are inside, the ship will begin to depart and the party will get access to a Loot Chest. [b]Pre Stage 2: The Seraphim[/b] • This next section is another defence sequence as Fallen Ketches will start ramming into the ship and Fallen will begin boarding. The ship is divided into the Bridge, the Hanger, the Engines and the Bow. Enemies will start attacking through the Hanger, Engines and Bow but can be easily fended off. If a Plague Shell arrives it must be killed quickly before it damages the room it's in. If that happens, enemies will spawn much faster. • After a while, the Axeleyth Spire will come into view and the Ketch pursuing the players will ram into the Seraphim one last time, causing both ships to crash into the outskirts of the tower.
