BLACK OPS 3 DESTROYED DESTINY
Everyone on my friend lists is playing black ops 3.
It was destiny now it's bo3
Black ops 3>destiny

10 RepliesThe big boys are bringing real competition at last. It's a good time to be a gamer. The next few months i will be mostly playing cod and fallout. Destiny really needs to pull it's finger out if im to come back and buy a dlc. If the dlcs are the same size as tdb and how i doubt i will buy them.

Today, on a Saturday that is the day after blops came out I spent most of the day doing trials with a couple different groups, did two raids with 2 different groups, got 4 invites throughout the day to help 4 other groups with their raids, which I couldn't get to cause I was already helping others, at no time today or yesterday evening did it seem like there was another game out there in the wild besides Destiny. Both tower and reef were full everytime I landed. So what's all this fuss about blops anyway?

You'd better delete destiny because you either are going to level up in COD or stick with the DESTINY grind to keep up with the rest. Unless gaming is all you do in life.

Of course...a new game came out. but if its like all the other ones from the past year, everyone will be back on destiny soon. Advanced warfare was the same way and everything else was as well.

Yes, at this momment there's more interest in a brand new game than a game that was released over a year ago. That's hardly surprising. It also won't be surprising when in a month or two BO3 is mostly dead and many of those players will have returned to Destiny.

2 RepliesBlack ops will definitely draw people away from destiny, this I am sure has been carefully calculated by Bungie and Activision. Believe it or not companies anticipate attrition through other titles and plan accordingly. Bungie undoubtedly has a road map for content releases (not necessarily DLC), events to bring players back in after the "honeymoon" phase of black ops has run its course.
