I don't think Destiny is dying...yet. But I do think it's a disturbing trend for Bungie and other developers to ignore, and worse yet, to taunt/ridicule the player base when they make suggestions. Now trust me, I know a great deal of the player base for most games needs to be ridiculed because they spew nothing but hate/ignorance but there are some with constructive criticism on how to fix problems and in general, make the game a more fun, well rounded game.
Destiny still has a lot of life left if they can stop the whole nerf everything mentality they have and address the real problems and not just nerf everything into oblivion. They need to realize that PvP problems aren't PvE problems and vice versa. They need to listen to the player base and for the love of god communicate and address concerns in a timely manner, even if it's just a quick post to let us know they are listening. Contrary to popular belief, a general nerf of a weapon type when there are just a few offenders doesn't balance the game, it just buries an entire class of weapons.
All in all I enjoy Destiny and generally have fun playing the game and I hate to be negative but Bungie really needs to learn how to balance the game and stop the whole "nerf it" craze that's all the rage.
