In a capitalist environment, a company needs to make a product worth buying. If they don't they will go out of business. So it is their job to make a game appealing enough to buy and play.

They have sold a product. I'm sure potential buyers won't be put off from buying the game just because they hear that weapon parts are less common. Do you? It's a computer game, bought with chump change. It's not for life.

I'm incredibly put off from buying anything Bungie ever does in the future because how these jackasses handle themselves. That's a pretty bad thing for a company to do to a loyal customer. This stuff does matter.
