Just letting you know, Bungie has over twelve million other players they can cater to. Your hours spent on this game doesn't matter, because you're just another player. Face it, the sunbreaker nerf probably won't do much. Kind of like the pulse rifle nerf. It was just there, but it didn't really do anything. Hammer of Sol will still be there, and Titans will still kill you with it. If you quit the game, so be it. One less customer playing Destiny. That's ok, because you're only ruining your own gaming experience. So quit if you so please, and remember, as long as Bungie and Activision are making money, you won't count as a loss. Because when you leave, around 5 more people probably will be putting in Destiny for the first time and adding to the Dev/Pubs paycheck.
