A month ago, Watchmen film director Zach Snyder had a discussion with HBO officials with the studio showing interests in him making Watchmen into a TV series. Its confirmed that the show is currently in early development, however not much details were given. This mean it could either be based on the Before Watchmen comics, a extension from where the graphic novel left off (After Watchmen? IDK), or simply a reboot. Personally I'm hoping for a prequel, IMO Snyder did a great job transfering the comic over to the silver screen, and having a TV series to help flesh out the universe with each character having a background story can help fix some of what the film couldn't fit in.
Although I'm aware others think the movie was shit, so a reboot would be a understandable move from HBO. But what do you guys think? What would you want to see in a Watchmen show, or what do you think it will be, and why? Discuss down below and share your thoughts.

Edit: So far a good amount of voters would also like to see a prequel, but the favor for a reboot being close to tie with the prequel vote proves my point that the film was a "Love it or hate it" flick.
Edit 2: Now the Reboot vote has taken the lead. So far this has been an interesting poll, since the winning vote has changed.

Reboot could work if it's only one season. Prequel could also be good with all those before watchmen comics. Idk man I'd watch it.
