The arguments about this gun drive me crazy. Whoever says it's OP clearly hasn't used it much. It's easier to get a headshot with 1000-Yard or Stillpiercer than it is to get a body shot with Eirene. Then, you only have a 1 in 4 chance of that round being LitC.
LitC is totally fair for that gun. It makes up for the lack of aim assist. [spoiler]and yes, aim assist matters. That argument is getting old too.[/spoiler]

Edited by Fox: 11/8/2015 7:52:50 PMI've used all kinda of snipers in this game, from low impact to high, high aim assist to low, you name it, I've tried it. The aim assist difference from a Efrideets spear with Ambush (which would be next to nothing) to a 1000 yard stare with Shortgaze and hidden hand, isn't that big of a difference. Good snipers will still be good, bad snipers will still be bad. Saying that the Eirene's Luck in the chamber is fair because of it's aim assist is dumb. Remember Efrideets hardly gets aim assist, should it's Final Round be justified too? they had to waste ammo as well, difference is. you KNEW it was coming. You hear the shots being dumped. One shot kills from full shields with a sniper rifle to the body can not be justified, even if it's RNG.

I hit headshots and body shots just fine with eirene I like it but compared to a defiance on regular crucible, its just not as good for getting as many or having fun with it, not just hard scoping because I quickscope with it all the time
