Less people on LFG, less topics on the forums, etc.

I'm just attributing that to my ever growing muted users list. Every time I see someone with a "Destiny is dying because of (insert game)" thread, they join the ranks. Honestly, it's been like a breath of fresh air. All that's really left is people engaging in ACTUAL discussion about the game.

This game doesn't even have a poll or somthing where the community can vote on important matters in destiny. How can bungie possibly know what the community wants when they don't even try to make communication with anyone but themselves. I don't think they even care about what the players think about this game. My only proof I can share is that players loved useing gallerhorn in pve and also loved using thorn in the crucible. I don't think anyone wanted these weapons completely removed from the game but regardless these guns were removed and they didn't even consider asking players about what we wanted. But It's not about what the community wants it's about what bungie wants.

It might just be.......the lfg community has been cut in half from where it normally is
-
Half the forum does it to themselves by making dumb AMA posts or satire. It just shows theres nothing really to talk about in Destiny lol no other mmo forum or forum in general has this many worthless posts.

This game will be like any job you hated. Once you leave, you wish they'd close their doors, but nope.....doesn't happen. They keep trucking on, no matter how many people come, and go. I'm pretty casual with he game, so I could careless about all the changes, and such. It's pretty funny to see everyone wriggle, and squirm, when stuff doesn't go their way. As much as this community doesn't want the game to survive, it would take an absolute catastrophe to make it stop. I thought the Taken King was a sequel, since that's what Deej had said Ina post, but activision confirmed it was just DLC. I think destiny will be like most games that actually make sequels, and improve on aspects of the first......but like anything, only time will tell.

New games will always draw people's attention. It is natural that people will try those games and they may come back to destiny or they may not.... I got halo 5 but I split my time to play both....halo didn't caught my entire attention
-
A bunch of new games came out, no harm in trying them out. Quite a few so far feel like huge let downs
-
Destiny died when Mara Sov did
-
I haven't seen evidence of either of those. Plus, it's BO3 launch day. Of course people will play a new CoD game for a week or so.

Me to kinda :/

Destiny is my Tuesday game.
-
Destiny won't die, but it will most definitely get in a coma every few months.

Edited by OwlRNothing: 11/6/2015 12:04:10 AMGood. Maybe that means all the 13 year old snot nosed entitled jerks will start to spew crap on he cod forums now and make this community better by LEAVING.

it's gonna decrease briefly from the round of new game releases, but people will be back to destiny in the month or so that it takes to beat whatever game. console games aren't meant to last long, destiny isn't an average console game Destiny will last
-
Same grind as year one, only longer and more drawn out just for the sake of inflated play times, the grind isn't even fun anymore. Can't really blame people for getting bored, I doubt that many will quit entirely, but I've already been back to Tuesday only for almost a month and many people I know that still play are the same way.

Edited by Dooodley: 11/6/2015 2:59:56 PMI've just spent 15 minutes getting zoned into the same strike from the lvl 36 playlist. And I mean "same", not as in getting Sunless Cell three times in a row. In it has been one guy trying his best to solo it, that's how I know it was the same strike. And yes, I left because the only reason i signed up for strikes in the first place was because I tried to knock out some of the quests for them. I first spent 30 minutes trying to get a match by picking these strikes directly from the map, which turned out to be an impossible mission. I didnt get a single match and there's nothing wrong with my connection or NAT. So yeah, it sure seems like the population dipped. Atleast for the day.

See you on Tuesday :D !!!!

Everything is dieing as soon as anything or anyone is born, it starts to die. Things die so that new things can have something to eat. and since new things eat dead things, they become what they eat.....and they die. Life is great because that person over there has a face shaped like a bed pan.

I agree Got scratched with halo 5 release Black ops 3 mortally wounded it today Fallout could be the killing blow or might leave it just barely alive
-
Not dying just getting old imo.
-
You'll have to wait another few weeks for the honeymoon phases of all the new releases to pass to see if destiny dies. Halo, then black ops, then fallout in consecutive weeks of course the active player base will change. After all destiny as of right now only has destiny 2 scheduled for next year, so if nothing comes out of course it'll die because their are loads of new games coming out. However you'll know if it truly died when destiny 2 releases.

Keep dreaming lol

Eh, I pick up crucible mostly now. I'm actually doing another Witcher play through Looking forward to Tomb Raider
-
yea, who knew a game would get slow 15 months after launch and during new release seaon....
-
People don't stick with COD very long, I'm not worried about a thing.
