Less people on LFG, less topics on the forums, etc.

Edited by Bye H8er: 11/6/2015 6:21:42 PMThe game is wack. It just takes people a little time to realize it. Once you've seen everything Destiny has to offer,YOU'VE SEEN EVERYTHING DESTINY HAS TO OFFER. Now it's just a choice of do I like this game enough to keep doing the same things over and over and is the carrot at the end of the stick (reward/loot drop) worth it. Thank you for making this post.

winter is coming
-
It'll spike back up when new stuff happens.
-
6 hard mode completions on 3 charecters. 1 primary no helmets for that fight is just a kick in the junk.
-
Tbh i really hope the game does die. Bungie and Activision will be scrambling to add the content they were holding back but by then, it will be too late lol.
-
Last year everyone thought that Call of Duty Advanced Warfare was gonna kill Destiny. Nuff said.
-
They're trying out the new games like black ops 3 and soon fallout 4, they'll be back.
-
I am buying a Xbox one next week and I will be getting halo 5 and fallout 4. No way in hell I'm rebuying destiny.
-
The real test comes in the next few days.....Fallout 4 may be the tipping point
-
Oh no. A video game came out that people who play video games want to play. I can't believe it. Less people playing a video game the day another video game comes out. How dare people who play video games play video games.

I blame it on Bungie. Yes, they gave sooo much content this recent expansion, but at the same time they made all the past content useless! I miss the year one content! The strikes we never get to play anymore (nexus, sepiks, archon priest, phogoth etc). I miss the weekly skolas grind. When you actually had a reason to do vault of glass and slay crota each week. Tbh i sit in the reef sometimes just to listen to the background music because it brings back all my great year one memory and experiences. I hate how bungie made all that content useless now.. Please take me back to Year 1? #TakeMeBackToYearOne
-
And all I got from Deejs post is more Nerfs are coming. For -blam!-s sake! I'll still play here and there but I'm not investing the same time I use to, only to get guns and armor that will be useless in a year. -blam!- that!

Its naive to think that Destiny would just stay crazy popular as new games come out isnt it? Taken King has been out two months now, a big DLC will surely be coming for Christmas to help drive sales. Personally I'll be juggling Destiny and Fallout 4..... Fallout 4. FALLOUT 4!!! *trousers ruined*

Edited by TheWagn: 11/6/2015 5:54:04 PMThe strength of destiny (at least for me) is that there is always something to look forward to. I mean I think about possible raids and strikes that may come out years from now. Also the lore is amazing. Still hoping for that ingame integration of the cards. Other games? Yea you may get a few dlc's or map packs with your "season pass". But that's it. Also I still frigging love destiny and maintaining all 3 classes. So theres that.

Edited by Toffathan: 11/6/2015 5:24:13 PMThey need to start playing there cards better. Otherwise they'll lose there chips.
-
They already have your money. So people buying another game is no big deal. Its not like this game is supported by subscriptions
-
Casuals leaving =/= duing
-
BO3 is the "new thing". Once the newness wears off, most of the players will return.
-
I really enjoy playing destiny.
-
I think its just simply no game hype. They'll come back. They always come back....
-
No game will kill Destiny. Destiny is killing itself. When other games would come out, yes, we would go try them out. But we would always come back. Now, it just seems like fewer and fewer people want to come back. We'll see what happens. Destiny is still my #1.

Edited by Uncatchable: 11/6/2015 4:10:52 PMI think so too. My friend list was full of "insert name" is playing destiny Now, surprisingly, " insert name " is playing Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Granted, it came out yesterday so that might be the reason why you see less people on lfg, and also it is early in the day. People working most likely. There are many factors. One last thing, I am posting as of Friday the 6th

Think bungie timed the micro transactions perfectly, just before these games came out they have made a shit load of money.
-
I think it started since Halo 5. I have been joining WAYYY to many games with not full teams. Especially on strieks or 3V3 playlist
-
It wont die to another game, it doesn't need to. It's killing itself, doesn't need any help.
-
I'm just attributing that to my ever growing muted users list. Every time I see someone with a "Destiny is dying because of (insert game)" thread, they join the ranks. Honestly, it's been like a breath of fresh air. All that's really left is people engaging in ACTUAL discussion about the game.
