Less people on LFG, less topics on the forums, etc.

Oh yea, this game is going to be hollow before the next dlc. The majority of my friend group have already left for cod, and they sound like they are having fun :/
-
Idk but it sure has taken me a loooooong time to find crucible matches lately

Edited by Negan: 11/6/2015 10:48:12 AMThe game is killing itself with the annoying grinding i prefere year1 upgrading system least once you got the piece of armor all you needed was the materials to upgrade it
-
Yes Tuesdays used to be busy on destinylfg.com but now I cant even get a group for anything but oryx.
-
I think you may be right. I have been a nonstop player since day 1 (well beta actually). Being on Xbox I saw a large group of friends go to halo. Now, with BO3, i cannot seem to find anyone left. I hope they come back but fear it may not be the case.
-
Same. I've actually noticed less people on LFG too.
-
Well it's the holiday season. Ima hardcore fan, but even I want to play Fallout 4. It's ok to play other games and for there to be lows at times.
-
It's common for a built in community to take a break from a game to play a major release of another game. Give it a week, it's a cod game. The community will return with vengeance.

Edited by Hx: 11/6/2015 8:11:27 AMUnless they show some MAJOR improvements I can see the player Base slowly decree this fall/winter season with cod, halo fallout ect coming and by March if people who enjoy the style of game destiny is (social pve ect) are smart they'll jump ship to the division which will be the nail in the coffin for destiny. The sequel to destiny will bring players back because they'll know what they have to do to make a better game. Don't get me wrong I enjoy destiny but I think I enjoy the style of game it is more then the game itself and as of now the division is looking more and more promising version of that style imo and I'll most likely fully stop destiny come March which is kinda sad really

I believe ur a little bitch
-
Yeah destiny "dying" but new players keep coming LOL!
-
Don't just don't
-
Yeah, I laugh and quit this game. The only reason I keep the app is to laugh at the bitching community but hey, that'll never change
-
Trust me it'll get better once the beta is over and the full game comes out!(:
-
It's winding down because they keep lying to us and most are simply fed up of it. Stuff like saying we learned from forever 29 then making forever 300 the new catch phrase because of the RNG on both the armour drops and their values. Removing half of the new exotics in order to time gate them. Artificially slowing everything down. I still come on to try to play but, then quickly realise I actually have nothing to do in the game. I could care less about trying to get a random valued piece of armour from hard raid only to know I'll be forced to keep running it until I somehow get that one piece I'm missing. I did that with VoG. It wasn't fun then and it's certainly not fun now!
-
Believe what you want. Those that stay, stay, those that go, go. Nobody is forcing anyone to play Destiny.
-
Destiny blows... You guys didn't realize till now though. Desticles will stay and hide under the rocks. Millions will leave, there will be a famine of players.... Fvck this I'm out
-
-
Honestly, I figured it would happen. Not even the Festival of the Lost could get me hooked back. I'm not sure if it was not having another game to tickle my fancy, or if I was having fun anymore. We will see what happens when the new games get stale I suppose.
-
I honestly think they should have an option to enable or disable match making for raids. Some don't want to play with random and I completely understand, but some people don't know enough others with Destiny to do these raids...it makes the game a lot less fun. It also makes getting better gear so much harder. As others have said earlier, with all the stipulations people put on lfg boards and sites it's impossible.
-
I'm just bored of it.... And when fallout comes out, Destiny will be officially dead. I didn't want to admit it earlier and I don't want to admit it now. But, Destiny is stale and boring now. There hasn't been anything exciting enough for this expansion (I didn't even like the raid that much) to keep people amused.
-
Yeah they really should implement an in game lfg at the tower and reef because so many more people would be participating with no doubt. There are many guardians out there but just doing patrols and running strikes because of the job of having to wait at lfg for someone rather than getting to actually play in the game itself.
-
I love destiny but I really don't think it's gonna recover from this blow unfortunately. I really do think it's over for the majority at least.
-
Retention. A Destiny failing point.
-
I think it's in a time of slow down due to new games. This'll last til next dlc or destiny 2
-
I find it funny that people blame "the departure" on hard mode loot. LOL hardcore raidiers dont realize they are a small minority in the destiny community. Relaitvely speaking not many players give a damn about your hard mode loot
