Everytime i jump down to the platform to collect the first ghost, there's nothing there :s any ideas anyone?

You're either doing the actual Paradox mission, or in the wrong spot. It has to be the Heroic Daily mission from Orbit.

Did you shoot any Of vex out side the vault door or any vex on your way to the first ghost?
