this.
everyone talks about what Goku could do, not what he would do.
from what I can tell (I'm too old for cartoons) Goku is an honorable fighter that doesn't fight to kill, but to win.
destroying a universe to win a fight wouldn't be an option for him.

Goku's other main flaw is that he almost only fights someone or even a group of people when they are at their strongest. He wants the challenge, even when he can't take it.
-
True, but limit it to crucible against guardians he would take a team of sunbreakers out in a sneeze. If you put him in the raid, he could do it blindfolded. Imagine Goku against the Cabal empire......under a full moonlight......in great ape form....

While I agree just one thing it's not a cartoon It's an anime There's a difference
-
I mean, the difference is that it's made in Japan...

Edited by Sunraku: 11/4/2015 6:32:57 PMNot really anime has been made in other places it's just not as good. Cartoons are meant for children Anime is meant for young adults
-
isn't DBZ rates +10 & until recent years it was aired on Cartoon Network & Nick? lol @ young adults. no.
-
That's the kiddy version You know the one that doesn't show blood or gore or doesn't have swearing

No, anime is watched by young adults in America. It's made for children in Japan. There are animated shows with art styles heavily influenced by anime from other parts of the world, and wether or not they should be considered anime is a subject of a great deal of debate. Personally, I'm in the camp that says animation is animation and it's stupid to categorize it by country of origin, though it can be useful to recognize similar stylistic choices.

Fair enough thats your opinion and I respect that. I'm not here to change your mind Only stating that in my experience anime is watched by an older audience
-
Yeah, it definitely is watched by an older audience in America, mostly because Japan has different television rating standards. A lot of anime, especially Shonen, is considered perfectly acceptable children's programming there, but is too violent by our standards and either has to be marketed towards teens and young adults or heavily censored.
