I purchased all DLC for Skyrim and clocked in just under a 1000 hours playing that game in its heyday, I have nearly doubled that time playing Destiny. I, and what appears many others as well, see no problem continuing to spend OUR hard earned money to prolong the game's lifespan. You don't want to spend any more money on Destiny, fine, move on to another game or don't, keep playing Destiny without buying future DLC because you CAN do that as well. And ps... STFU

The saddest thing is when a person believes that they are paying out their money of their own coherent and untainted will instead of corporate manipulation. Yeah, you keep on paying out your hard earned money to Bungie.

This could be said about any form of entertainment someone chooses to enjoy. Just because you're not having fun with what you paid for doesn't mean everyone feels that way. Most people I know that got TTK, bought it because they wanted to play the new content. Many are enjoying it. Some of the discontent I see is from people that complained before it was even released and never really wanted to like it anyway. They went in to find flaws to keep complaining. Some haven't even played it, but they sit on the sidelines throwing out negative comments. I don't go to forums of games I'm not playing. I move on completely. Not sure why others don't do the same.

But you see, this is going to kill gaming. We are allowing big companies like bungie to just start implementing micro transactions in games. Later down the line this will get worse and worse. Until everything is locked behind a paywall.

Microtransactions have been around on consoles since Xbox Live and PSN's network took off. Most didn't notice it, because it wasn't happening in a game they played or it was stuff they didn't want so they brushed it off. Sports games have had it, adventure games and the list goes on.

Yeah, gaming is going to die, umkay drama queen. Imagine if Destiny switched to a subscription base fee. Would you be happier then? I think not.

[quote]But you see, this is going to kill gaming. You might just be too young to see that or you might not pay very much attention, but it's true. And Destiny's micro-transactions are on the middle of the scale: not to good but not too bad.

Tis human nature. Nothing lasts forever. If people enjoy playing destiny, don't attack them for it, and don't plead with them to stop.
