Cringe.

superman prime

Adult FR, Thanos, Galactus (not starving), LT, Odin, BRB, Adam warlock, some versions of Dr strange, celestials, OF and RK Thor (normal Thor is a 50/50, depends what day they're fighting!), Phoenix force, Dr doom, hyperstorm to name a few.
-
Only if Thanos has the infinity gauntlet...
-
I disagree. Thanos has a much greater intelligence, and as everyone knows, if he has prep time he wins vs most other marvel beings (though usually shown for PD, so prep time can be discounted here). He has an edge in strength and durability, but that edge is lost due to him being the lazy big purple that he is. His tech can also cause problems for SS. On most other abilities they are pretty much the same. That being said, his greater intelligence will be what gives him the win over surfer. Or, you know, his life curse from mistress death.
-
Juggernaut could destroy ALL of these people lmao. Just has to start moving. Only person who has ever physically stopped him would be the Hulk when he was literally in God Mode.
-
With the uncanny rumors of him having god-like powers I can't confirm his win or loss... But I do know that the Silver Surfer had beaten the Hulk.
-
Edited by What I Look Like: 11/4/2015 2:11:31 PMHis gem of Cyttorak (think that's how you spell the name) is the gem of some mystical God-like being. Gives him unlimited physical strength. As in, no solid opposing force could do too much. Very efficient at ignoring magical/ some cosmic "magics". He's so ridiculous, the Hulk had to literally become the embodiment of a Horse from the Apocalypse to stop him once he started moving. Requires equally unlimited strength to stop him, essentially. He also requires no form of sustenance or anything else that would define him as a human (ie fckn oxygen lmao).
-
Matter arrangement can stop that...
-
Theoretically, true. I'm just not entirely savvy as to how that would truly affect Juggernaut. He isn't defying every law of nature but he does defy many of them. From a basic standpoint taking no factors into account, then by all means you are correct. However, these are denizens of the Marvel universe. We could just as easily have a warp tunnel appear in the sky, raining Spidermen from the Future, or we could have Loki mind control Hulk again during all this. I'm talking big team battle. Also worthy of note to say that I'm sure his strength is so massive it would be hard to stop him with anything short of stepping out of his way as you stand in front of a teleporter to some distant desert.
-
Well we are just speculating the facts of the two characters... We have no say in who wins or looses. It could even be a stalemate between the two.
-
Edited by What I Look Like: 11/4/2015 2:30:26 PMI could really see that too, yeah. They rush at each other, collide, and the ears of every organism in the universe all go *POP*. They're both just extreme power sources with not much able to stand against them. Dunno how Wolverine and the crew managed him for so long lol. Charles I get, and Magneto definitely, but no one else in the X-Men short of whoever has the Phoenix Force at the time (unless it WAS limited to Jean Grey, can't recall off top) should be able to do much. Actually, Phoenix Force could probably stop both of em. Shit.
-
He IS powered by a very powerful gem, which in turn gets its power from the deity who owns it. Really should read up on some Juggernaut theories, they're actually kinda crazy.
-
I've never heard this argument. It's intriguing. You say he absorbs energy based attacks. Well so did Super 17, but Goku still ended up victorious.
-
So did doctor Gero, but besides that point. Silver Surfer is a being of cosmic energy in which Goku never faced a being made of cosmic energy. Not all energy absorbers all have the same fate...
-
"Cosmic energy" Unless that has strict defining characteristics I'm pretty sure it can be classed as ki, the energy of the DBZ universe, in which case Goku would wreck shop.
-
Yes, it has strict defining characteristics... Ki is the basic energy that anyone has. Just beings who are not earthborn tend to have higher amounts of ki in their body.
-
What particular characteristic of cosmic energy makes Goku susceptible to lose to Silver Surfer?
-
Arrangement of matter, time travel, element transmutation, suppressing powers, manipulation absorption and discharge of energy and radiation.
-
Those aren't characteristics of cosmic energy. You just listed a bunch of random abstract concepts.
-
No, those are the abilities that are able to be used if one attains cosmic energy... Those said abilities are (present) during the use of cosmic energy. That defines a characteristic. Please don't tell me you're believing Ki or Comic energy is real...
-
I'm not sure where you're extracting that I've invested actual belief in these but don't worry about that. Those abilities are not beyond the DBZ universe. Using ki the Kais can create matter by arranging molecular structures. Instant transmission, one of Goku's abilities, is conceptually impossible without time travel, plus time has been reversed in DBZ. It's nothing too elaborate.
-
Transmission has nothing to do with time travel. The user's body is simply moving to another place just at a fast speed. That's like saying someone who uses a burst of speed is time travelling. You got the manipulation of matter part, except that wasn't our main subject. You could essentially interpret that any non universal concept from another series could be present if you want to "connect loose chains".
-
It's not a speed burst. It's literally instantaneous. As I said, conceptually impossible without time travel. Also time can be reversed in the DBZ universe. If you're speculating about a crossover battle then you need to make connections like this. That's the only way to reconcile the differences.
-
If so then couldn't Goku actually "time traveled" to stop Frieza from blowing up the planet? Or couldn't he actually "time traveled" to stop Frieza from destroying planet Vegeta? What about the time when Earth got blown up by Majin (Kid) buu? As you said, making loose connections is necessary when speculating a crossover battle. Too much Screwattack battles huh?
