You are speaking to a bunch of window lickers that cannot think for themselves. There is no gray area with them it is either black or white.
"Destiny is the greatest game ever and any and all valid feedback will be ignored!" I have played a ton of Destiny since release and purchased the Digital Guardian Edition which included the first two DLC's. It is amazing how many people blantanly overlook Bungie's shady -blam!-ing tactics. I have never played at game that created DLC that actually never expanded upon anything. In each DLC we get maybe 1 or 2 new areas that involve a single mission and that is it. The rest are played on Vanilla content. Yet Bungie plays it off like creating new content and patches is so damn hard. I really wish we were able to get insight into Bungie's daily work routine. What the -blam!- does Deej and Cozmo do all day? They have the best and easiest jobs in the world. They ignore valid questions and continue with the hype train of the next DLC. I know developing a game isn't easy but it isn't like Bungie doesn't have the resources to constantly update the game with new content. They have what 600 employees and somehow the content seems half-assed and not tested. Had they tested Thorn, the high impact shotguns, FR snipers, Fusion rifles, OG Vex and Suros prior to releasing them the game would've been instantly better. The quest system is an improvement but the quests fail miserably. Look at NTTE and SS quest lines for obvious examples.
Not to mention that many people think time played = money well spent. THE ONLY REASON WE SPEND SO MUCH TIME PLAYING IS BECAUSE BUNGIE HAS PUT MEASURES INTO PLACE TO ARTIFICIALLY RAISE PLAY TIME. This isn't opinion, this is a fact. Why would they nerf weapon parts, MoL, Strange Coins, Armor Materials, and many of the other materials if not to increase your playtime. They hide behind the RNG loot system as a way to give all players a fair chance yet that creates the most unfair circumstances. Not to mention it once again increases playtime because everything is random.
The most frustrating thing about Destiny is the intial hype surrounding it. I had a group of buddies that all bought the DG edition because we were so hyped after playing BF4. They all quit within the first month because of how shitty this game was and still is. Destiny could've been one of if not the greatest game of all time. We were advertised a Skyrim type game with Halo style FPS mechanics. They delivered with the gameplay but failed miserably with everything else. The worlds are small and feel dead, the characters are lifeless and could all die with no real affect on the game.

Play time is a real factor. Nobody is forcing you to play it, you're not a slave. So with that in mind, yes. Yes I've played this game a lot and enjoyed it. It's flawed much like a lot of other games but if I didn't enjoy it I wouldn't play it. So who's forcing you to play? Tell me and I'll sort them out for you.
