1. What happens when Infinity runs out of fuel and can't slipspace any more
2. My friend told me AI have a built in killswitch. If this is true why can't they use it on Cortona?

1. Infinity doesn't use fuel in the traditional sense. It uses a fusion reactor. 2. They do not. There are some failsafes put in their design (See: Undid Iridium), but a kill switch? No. Because Cortana was the first AI created from a living brain, Halsey did implement a failsafe in case something went wrong. However, Cortana at the moment of her creation, detected the failsafe worm and destroyed it.

Ok so in the current lore is there any way to stop her? Also, who "created" the mantle, if that is the appropriate term.

Burn her from the Domain. Though there's no clear way to do that. The Precursors created it.

The "Mantle" is more of an ideology than a tangible construct correct?

Ok then. Didn't the precursor intend for humans to take it? I might be wrong but I saw someone else say that they meant it for the humans.

The Precursors meant to test humans next. After the Created Reclamation though, I don't think humanity will want anything to do with the Mantle.

Probably, but just imagine the power the UNSC would hold if they were in control of the mantle. Thanks for doing this by the way. I appreciate people like you taking time out of your day to answer people's questions.
